Sarina Community Arts & Crafts Cooperative LTD supports local crafters and is run entirely by volunteers. Registered August 1996, gained accreditation as an information centre in 2001, while still supporting local crafters. In 2018 a stand alone Mackay Region Visitor Information Centre was opened, separating the two entities (information centre and arts & crafts shop). The Arts & Craft shop occupies three historic buildings: the old court house built in 1901, the old jail built circa 1901, and the former Mount Pelion State School building built 1926
Our Centre is located in the Sarina Field of Dreams Parkland at the Southern entrance to Sarina adjacent to the Sarina Railway Station.
